Ed Treacy

Vice President, Supply Chain Efficiencies, PMA

With more than 20 years of senior management experience in logistics and supply chain management, Ed Treacy now serves as PMA's expert in developing supply chain practices to lead the produce and floral industries forward in these areas.

Ed brings tremendous expertise in logistics and supply chain management. And the new position that he is filling furthers the deliberate course PMA set to design and deliver the real-world business solutions our members need.

A past chairman of the Canadian Pallet Council, a founding board member of the Canadian RFID Center, and former vice chair of the Canadian Professional Logistics Institute, Ed has spent most of his career working with major Canadian retail chains, including Sobeys Inc. and Loblaw Companies, Ltd. Most recently, Treacy served as senior vice president of operations for New Breed Logistics, High Point, N.C., where he designed and implemented distribution centers for various manufacturers to service such major U.S. retailers as Wal-Mart, Target, Walgreens, CVS, Hallmark and Best Buy.

Jamie Strachan

CEO/ President, Growers Express

Jamie Strachan joined the Growers Express in June of 2006 as General Manager. Prior to that he served a six year stint as a principle in Pacific States Asset Management where he was actively engaged as an advisor to Growers Express and other partner affiliated companies in financial and risk management matters.

Jamie has been extremely active in promoting nutritional awareness within the company, the local community, the produce industry, as well as on Capitol Hill in Washington D.C.. In addition to his tireless efforts in the nutritional arena, he has taken on a leadership role as a Vice Chairman of the Advisory Board as well as Chairman of the Executive Committee in the Leafy Greens Handler Marketing Agreement.

Michael J. Agostini

Senior Director, Produce, Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.

A veteran of more than 37 years in the produce and grocery industry, Michael is responsible for the merchandising of vegetable produce categories at Wal-Mart Supercenters and Neighborhood Markets which currently total more than 2,800 retail stores nationwide. He has also lead Wal-Mart's Produce Supply Chain and Technology Teams, which seeks to create innovative processes for the worldwide movement of produce for Wal-Mart's business units and their supplier partners.

Michael has previously held key positions at Agribuys.com, Torrance, CA and Food Lion, Inc., Salisbury, NC. Michael currently serves as Chair of the PMA Supply Chain Efficiencies Committee and serves on the PMA Board of Directors.
